What is the minimum passing marks in maths for 12th standard? Does it vary between different boards or it's same for all? Can you please give me the right information on the same? Hope that I will get the details soon from here. Thank you!

First thing I would like to let you know that the passing marks/criteria for different board of education is different and hence without knowing your board of examination it is not possible to provide you the exact details about the passing criteria of your concerned board of education.

But for an idea I would like to mention here that passing marks for all the board of examination lies within the range of 30 marks to 40 marks out of 100 marks.

In case of national boards of education the passing criteria for Mathematics paper is 33 marks for CBSE and NIOS and 35 marks for ICSE.

The minimum passing marks in 12th standard Mathematics subject are 35% of the total marks for which the examination is conducted. For example, if the examination is conducted for 100 marks, you need to score at least 35 marks to qualify the examination.

For 12th standard, if the total marks of Mathematics subject is 100 marks.

Then, passing marks is 33 marks of that subject.

The same criteria is followed in CBSE Board as well as other State Boards.

In few universities like AKTU, passing criteria is 30 marks for any particular subject.
