UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission and it conducts different examinations for recruitment in the different fields like Defense , Railways , Civil Services etc. at the different level of academics .

As you have probably asked about the Civil Services examinations then the eligibility criteria for the same are as here under :-

* You must be an Indian candidate .

* You must have done your graduation with any discipline from a recognized university .Also there is no restriction of minimum percentage required in graduation for appearing in the same .

* As per the new rules , the upper age limit has been extended by 2 years while the lower age limit remains the same .Hence the limit for this examination for general candidates is within 21 years to 32 years and age relaxation is offered to other categories as per the norms .

Also the maximum number of attempts allowed for general candidate has become 6 times which was 4 times earlier .

The examination is held into three stages which are Preliminary test , Mains examination and Personal Interview respectively .

For more details and notifications about the upcoming UPSC examinations refer to the official link of same i.e; www.upsc.gov.in .
