What is the percentage criteria required for getting admission in hotel management course? Can someone please let me know the basic eligibility criteria which needs to be followed for the course? Awaiting for the quick answer on the same.

To get admission in Hotel management course, you will have to qualify anyone of the following entrance exams.

There are about 21 central and 15 state affiliated IHMs (Institute of Hotel Management) all over India.

Admission to IHMs is purely based on NCHM JEE Exam.

Apart from IHMs, there are 7 prominent IIHMs all over India which offer B.Sc. Catering Science and Hotel Management Courses.
  • IIHM Delhi
  • IIHM Kolkata
  • IIHM Bangalore
  • IIHM Pune
  • IIHM Jaipur
  • IIHM Ahmedabad
  • IIHM Hyderabad

Apart from NCHM JEE, there are also many other Hotel Management Entrance exams for which you may appear:
National Level Exams
  • NCHM JEE
  • IIHM eCHAT
  • AIMA UGAT

State Level Exams
  • UPSEE BHMCT
  • UKSEE BHMCT
  • MAH CET HM
  • WBJEE HM

To be eligible for these entrance exams, you must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% marks in aggregate from any recognized school.

Science, Commerce and also Art stream candidates are eligible to apply for these entrance exams.

One who has completed their 10+2 from any NOIS/State/CBSE recognized board examination or its equivalent (Diploma course) with 'English' subjects at least 50% are eligible to join this course.

You can do these courses from:

Institute of Hotel Management, Catering & Nutrition, Pusa

Indian Institute of Hotel Management (IIHMs)

Institute of Hotel Management( IHMs)

International Institute of Hotel Management

Lovely Professional University (LPU)

Indian Institute of Hotel Management and Culinary Arts

Bharitiya Vidhyapeeth Univerisity,
