Diploma holders can seek admission to B.E degree through lateral entry scheme. Most of the Universities carry out entrance exams for selecting candidates through lateral entry. Eligibility requirements for attending the entrance exam may depend on the University that carry out the test. Anyway, one must have minimum 60% marks in diploma to seek admission to B.E course. Detailed information on eligibility can be collected from exam notification for lateral entry.

I'm doing my diploma in Mech and will be completing in 2015. I want to take admission in B.Tech(Mech) through lateral entry in Karnataka university. Pls convey me when entrance exam for lateral entry will be held.
