What is the physical eligibility criteria to become a collector? Can you please provide me the eligibility criteria details? I need to ensure that am eligible to start the preparation. If not to take a different path of a career. Awaiting for you response.

To become Collector, your educational qualification should be Graduation. After the completion of your graduation course you will become eligible for IAS entrance conducted for the post of collector. IAS entrance exam is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) and is one of the most competitive exam for collector aspirant.

The Eligibility criteria to become Collector :

1- A candidate should must have Graduate degree in any streams.

2- Age Criteria : Candidate age should have in between 21 to 30 for general candidates and 21 to 37 years for OBC candidates & no age limit for SC/ST candidates.

The exam pattern of UPPSC entrance exam :

There will be two part of exam,

1- Preliminary examination - In the preliminary exam, you will have to write two papers.

A- General studies
B- Optional Paper

2- Personal Interview - Once you clear this exam you will be called for Personal interview and selection will only be decided after interview.

Do we need to give any physical examination tests to become a district collector
