There are various Universities and Institutes which offers Master of Business Administration [MBA] program through Distance/Correspondence mode. However, the Institutions one is willing to pursue the Distance program in with must be fully accredited by the appropriate agencies. The purpose of accreditation is to ensure that education provided by Universities and Institutes meets the acceptable level of quality.

Following are the list of recognized Institutions offering MBA program through Distance mode along with eligibility criteria:

Indira Gandhi National Open University

Candidate must have successfully completed their Bachelors Degree program in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Candidate has to qualify the OPNEMAT conducted by the University. Candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance test for admission into Management Programme conducted by institutions like CAT, MAT, and State level tests gets exemption from the OPNEMAT.
