i ant to known the prossedure to join military...please tell me the complete procedure

Selection of candidates to defense varies with job profile and qualification. 12th passed candidates can have selection via NDA exam. Graduates can attend CDSE exam and can join to Officer level positions. In both cases qualified candidates should undergo medical test and interview. Detailed information on recruitment can be collected from the portal of Army, Navy, etc.

Procedure To Join Indian Military

Depending on your age and qualifications..you can either appear for NDA or for CDS which are both conducted by UPSC..

NDA (NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY)

NDA Exam is conducted in the months of April and August..

A candidate can appear for the exam only if :-

>> The candidate has completed 12th boards..

>> Candidate must be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years..

CDS (Combined Defense Services)

CDS is conducted in the months of February and September..

A candidate is eligible to appear for CDS only if :-

>> Candidate is within the age limit of 19-24 years for Indian Military Academy..

>>Candidate must have completed graduation from a recognized institute..
