dear friend,

Eligibility criteria required:-

1. CDSE is apllicable for men only

2. Any graduate degree BE/BTech having passed Physic and maths of 12th class with minimum 60%

3. Age limit required 19 -23 year

4. vacancies are advertised in the month of Apr/Sep

if you have to full fill this criteria then you are eligible for MILITARY.

A Engineering graduates can join indian army

• join in the 3rd year or that final year through the UES(University Entry Scheme)
  
• or after completion of graduation through Technical Graduate Scheme, by appearing before the Service Selection Board.

In both the cases you can be posted as a captain.

and also you can apply for Combined Defence Services examination as a regular/short service commissioned officer..

• For regular service training will be Indian Military Academy , Dehradun..
  
• For short service Officer’s Training Academy, Chennai...

Short service is for 5 years and after completion of 5 years either you can resign or opt for an extension for five years or a permanent commission.

Hello, there are many ways to join the Military after BE. I would rather suggest, don't wait for BE to end, apply in the final year. You can go for Army, airforce , navy. the mode of entry are as follows-

1.CDS written followed by SSB
2.UES direct selection for SSB
3.TGC- no written, direct apply and go for SSB
4.AFCAT(air force)- written exam, followed by SSB

there are many ways to join, but they would mean recruitment in the technical department of the armed forces..u can directly apply for them,,, they will do the post ads but u have to serve the indian army for atleast 15 years..

1.through UES. which exam you can appear in the final year of your B.E.

2.through UPSC exam. which exam you can appear after doing your B.E.

3.through CDS.

4.through TDS.

etc.

You can join Military by two ways-

1. You can appear directly into the campus interviews organized by Indian Army in various Engineering colleges. By this you will be directly placed in Indian Army as an Engineer.

2. You may appear in the CDS exam. Through this exam you may join Indian Army in the officer's rank..

You can join the Indian Army after your graduation. The minimum percentage of mark that you need to have to apply is 60%. You will have to appear for the CDSE. CDSE is combined defense services examination. If you clear the exam successfully, you will have to attend the SSB interview. Once that is cleared then you will be asked to undergo the medical. Once you have cleared all these hurdles you can join the IMA for training.
