Re: What is the procedure to join Railway engineering?
To join Railway engineering you will have to clear the SCRA examination.
SCRA stands for Special Class Railway Apprentice and the same examination is held by Union Public Service Commission once every year. The qualifications required for appearing in the same examinations are as here under :- --> You must have the citizenship of India. --> Your age must lie within 17 years to 21 years. --> You must have a higher secondary school degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as your main subjects or any equivalent degree with at least 45 % aggregate from a recognized board of education. The examination is held in two stages which are :- Stage I) General ability test & Stage II) Personality assessment test. You can join Indian railways after completing your bachelor of engineering/technology course from a recognized university by cracking RRB examination. For more details regarding the same examination you can log on to the official link of UPSC i.e; www.upsc.gov.in. |
