U should have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution.
U should have taken Punjabi as one of compulsory or elective subjects in his/her Matriculation examination. Punjab Police Service, the applicant have to undergo physical test and have to be fit according to the rules and regulations. They have to fulfill the necessary physical standards as below. Minimum height of Men: 5'.7" Minimum height of Women: 5'.3" Chest Measurement for Men (Unexpanded): 33" Chest Measurement for Men (Expanded): 341/2" I HAVE GIVEN U THE INFORMATION IN A SIMPLE WAY best of luck |

PCS stands for Punjab Civil Service exam. ELIGIBILITY FOR PCS EXAMS ; You must be Indian You must have graduation from recognized university. Age limit is 21 to 37 years Number of attempts for this exam General category is 4 Ex - servicemen 3 For these exams selection process is PRELIMS, MAINS, INTERVIEW. All the best........... |

Qualifications for PCS exam:
Punjab Civil Services Exam(PCS) is conducted by UPPSC. i)He/She must be graduated from recognized university ii)His/Her age must be under 21-40 years up to 01-07-2013. iii)Number of attempts should be limited iv)If he has all the qualifications then he must be eligible to write PCS exam |

PCS - Punjab Civil Services Punjab Civil Service Exam is combined competitive examination is being conducted by Pubjab Public Service Commission. Eligibility Criteria: Nationality: You must be Citizen of India. Educational Qualification: You must be complete Graduation from a recognized University. Age limit: Candidates age limit between 21 years to 28 years. Age relaxation: Age relaxation as per govt.rules: ==>For OBC Candidates age relaxation is 3 years. ==>For SC/ST Candidates age relaxation is 5 years. ==>For PHD Candidates age relaxation is 10 years. Selection Process: Selection process is based on three stages: Stage I: Preliminary Examination It consists of General Studies and Civil Services Aptitude Test Stage II: Main Examination It consists of English,Essay(English/Punjabi), Punjabi(Gurmukhi script),General studies(2 papers),Optional subject I & II ( 2 papers & 2 papers).
