12th standard or equivalent qualification is the minimum educational qualification to apply for CBI Officer. Only Completing 12th standard you may Join as a constable in CBI and the applicant should be not less than 18 years of age. However, If yo have completed graduation then you may apply for Officer level post. The applicant should be physically as well as medically fit. The Selection procedure for this examination is divided into written test, Physical Test and Interview. The Information regarding the examination will be published in employment news paper and Official website of SSC.

Here the all qualification for the applying CBI are as given below:

Qualification Required to Join CBI::

You need to be graduate in order to appear for Sub Inspector post in CBI Departments

You have to appear for SSC Combined Graduate level Examination , CBI SI Post comes under CGL Examination

Age limit::

20-27 year


relaxation in upper Age

5 year upper age relaxation for SC/ST Category

3 year for obc category

Physical requirements :

Height :

165 cms for men

150cms For women

CBI - central bureau of investigation
CBI inspector vacancy is filled up through exam conducted by CBI.

Eligibility for CBI inspector
- you should have bachelor degree in any discipline.
- No age limit

Selection Process
- written exam
- Interview
After qualifying the written exam , you will called for interview & will have to pass the interview.
