What is the qualification for IPS? What subjects should be taken after Matrix?

Bachelor degree is the necessary qualification required for IPS. Degree should be obtained in any stream. So you can select your subject of interest in 12th. Selection to the position is made through UPSC conducted prelims and mains exam, and physical fitness test. Questions on History, geography, Indian polity, constitution, general studies, English, etc are asked for the entrance exam.
