What is the qualification needed to become an IAS or IPS officer?
Percentage required in class 10 and 12 for subjects in which one ahould master oneself so that he can become an ias or an ips officer.

IAS - Indian Administrative Service and IPS - Indian Police Service which is the prestigious post to serve people and these exams are conducted by UPSC.
To become and IAS/IPS officer one should have the following qualifications ELIGIBILITY : * Candidate should be citizen of India. * Candidate must have complete their Graduation degree from any recognized University. * Minimum age limit is 21 years and Maximum age limit is 30 years. * Both male and female are eligible for this post. * The candidate should be Physically and Mentally fit for the post. As per the UPSC notification there is no percentage criteria for IAS and IPS officer exam. It doesn't matter what your percentage in 10th or 12th because selection is purely based on the performance in the CSAT, Mains and Interview.
Therefore, don't worry about your academic percentage and prepare by keeping in mind the syllabus of UPSC Civil Services exam. Choose the optional subject in which you have interest. 1. Civil Services Examination. IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services & IPS stands for Indian Police Services . It is one of the good job of our country. The Civil Services examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) once in every year. To appear in the Civil Services Examination you need the following criteria : Eligibility Criteria : - Graduation degree in any stream from a recognize university. - Age must be between 21 to 30 years. Age relaxation is also applicable for the reserve category. These are the basic eligibility criteria of the Civil services examination. If you satisfy the above eligibility criteria then you are eligible to apply for this examination. The competition is really tough so you need to work hard to get success.
