What is the scope for Cytogenetics in India?
Hi All,
Wanted to ask you what is the scope for Cytogenetics in India. I am currently studying Biomedical Sciences at a London university. Please help me out here. your help is much appreciated. Thanks Clash_0

Cytogenetics has not been given much attention till now but infrastucture for it now developing fast.
Cytogenetics Centers in India 1.Veer Narmad South Gujarat University - Surat, Gujarat 2.Hindi Vidya Prachar Samiti`s Ramniranjan Jhunjhunwala College - Mumbai, Maharashtra 3.Post Graduate College of Science - Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh LABORATORY OF CELLULAR AND MOLECULAR CYTOGENETICS Department Of Botany, University of Delhi , Delhi - 110007 The minimum qualification for Research Associate is Ph.D in Molecular Biology/Botany/Life Science/Biotechnology with research experience in molecular biology / chromosome research/insitu hybridization/flow cytometry. Persons with experience in phytochemistry may also apply.
