Wanted to ask you what is the scope for Cytogenetics in India. I am currently studying Biomedical Sciences at a London university.

Cytogenetics has not been given much attention till now but infrastucture for it now developing fast.

The minimum qualification for Research Associate is Ph.D in Molecular Biology/Botany/Life Science/Biotechnology with research experience in molecular biology / chromosome research/insitu hybridization/flow cytometry. Persons with experience in phytochemistry may also apply.

i hav completed my Bsc in paramedical. and am doing pg diploma in NIMS.am planing to do for Msc cytogenetics.

what scope would be there for cytogenetic, if unqualified persons are occupied.
they neither develop nor allow real cytogeneticist. If really qualified persons allowed to do the things in cytogenetics, it would definitely develop and scope would be there for younger generations.
