Even though the field is popular abroad, it is quite recently that Indian industries have started realizing the commercial viability of Nanotechnology.
In India, Nanotechnology is at its infancy stage and is targeted towards the main streams like electronics, healthcare markets, and other industrial products. Many scientific institutions have been doing Research and Development (R&D) in this field. The scope and application of Nanotechnology is tremendous and mind-boggling and it is one of the hottest career option available to Indian Engineering graduates. A nano-technologist can seek employment in the following areas : Agriculture Environment industry Medicine Food and Beverage Teaching Genetics Bio-technology Space Research Forensic Science. The implications of nanotechnology have found in the following sectors -Telecommunications -Computing -Aerospace -Solar energy -Environment. |

Hi
Nanotechnology (sometimes shortened to "nanotech") is the study of manipulating matter on an atomic and molecular scale. Thus since it works in the nano level, its called the Nanotechnology. Nano+Technology. Now this is a very vast field. These days a lot of new developments are taking place in this stream. All the computers, laptops, PDA's, Palmtops, Mobile phones, Tablet PC's etc work on the concept of nanotechnology. So this stream has got huge scope in the future. Some of the main areas of its application are : Medicine Electronics Food Fuel Cells Solar Cells Batteries Space Better Air Quality Cleaner Water Sporting Goods Fabric To read more about these online... Please Click Here Also I am uploading an article. Please download it and read for more knowledge. All the best Regards #RJ# |
