i have completed M.A in Economics and B.ed.......what next should I do after completing

Since you have taken a B.Ed degree it looks like you are interested in the teaching field. With this you can teach in schools. But since you are post graduate you have the option to teach at the college level too. But for that you must appear for the NET exam. If you interested in the school level job then do appear for the SET exam. It is a must of clear the exams if you wish to join any of the Government run or UGC affiliated institutes.

You can go for school teaching after completing your MA in economics. Otherwise you can try in various govt sector jobs.

i born in 1976,completed ma in economics through pune university&also completed b.ed subjects hindi&geography and passed from mumbai university&experience in primary section ,as my kids were small i could go and search job.but now as they are grown up i like to do further studies ,so please advice me

i did b.com,ll.b,and pgdca.and on the basis of pgdca i got appointed as a computer teacher in a school,can i go for ma(economics) and opt.for teaching on the basis of ma(economics)

It seems that you are interested in teaching field. But for that I don't think you should have done Bachelor of Education. After completing post graduation you become eligible for the National Eligibility Test which is conducted for college lectureship and PhD.

Post graduation degree makes you eligible for college lectureship while the Bachelor of Education degree makes you eligible for school teacher. If you have to choose one, I will say go for the college lectureship.


NET Eligibility

1. You should be Indian citizen.

2. Post graduation degree in any stream.

3. At least 55 percent marks.

4. SC/ST are required to score 50 percent marks.

5. Final year students are also eligible to apply.

6. You must select NET subject which is relevant to PG course.

7. Age limit for JRF is 28 years.

8. upto 3 years relaxation for OBC.

9. Maximum of 5 years relaxation for SC and ST.

10. There is no upper age limit for college lectureship.


If your marks in post graduation are not sufficient for National Eligibility Test then you should apply for the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (TET). This exam is conducted by CBSE to recruit school teachers for central government schools.

CTET Eligibility

1. You should be of Indian origin.

3. At least 50 percent marks in graduation.

5. There is no age limit to apply.

If Net/Slet exam is not passing whic is the good careers next to M.A B.ed? To get ugc/governamet appoint in college?
