Re: What should I do to become an engineer?
You should pursue engineering degree (B.E/B.Tech) in your interested stream to become engineer in the concerned field. HSC passed candidates are eligible to join engineering degree. They should have studied Physics, Chemistry and mathematics as subjects. State/national level entrance test are conducted for admission process. IIT JEE, MHT CET, WBJEE, etc are some of such entrance test

Quote:
1) B.E - Bachelor of Engineering OR 2) B. Tech - Bachelor of technology You can either get admitted through management quota or through merit. For merit seats , you have to write entrance exams. Leading entrance exams on engineering are:- 1)AIEEE- All India Engineering Entrance Exam This exam is conducted by CBSE and seats are allotted through out India. 2)IIT-JEE- Indian Institute Of Technology- Joint Entrance Examination. This entrance is conducted by IITs for admission in various IITs trough out the country. 3)State JEEs . Cracking this exams , you will get admitted to engineering colleges. Once completing the course , you holds an engineering degree. If you wish , you can even take P G courses like M.E, M. Tech. |

Re: What should I do to become an engineer?
Hello dear....
Good question.....always aim high.... First you need to take mpc stream in your 10+2.......after completing your 10+2 you need to appear for competative exam like aieee,eamcet,iit,jee..... If you get a good rank in any one of the exam... Then you can attend your counselling where they allot you a seat.....if your not qualified then you still want to do engineering then you can buy a seat that is called management quota.... B.tech-bachelor of technology....there are many groups in engineering but best among them are: 1.ece-electronics & communication engineering 2.cse-computer science engineering 3.eee-electrical & electronics engineering 4.civil engineering 5.mechanical engineering 6.it(information technology) select any branch in which your interested.....if you want to secure a good job you need to have atleast 65% in your b.tech..... After completion of b.tech if your interested you can go for higher studies like m.tech(master in technology),ms(master in science)..... All the best dear.... |
