Re: What should I do to clear IAS and IES Exams in first attempt?
Dear..
As of now you are not eligible but you really want to crack the nut in first attempt then i must say you have to make a master plan for this:- 1. First of all understand all if's and but's of the exam and after that start by making a time table, time table should be followed seriously and after that choose the subjects that you want to study. Choose all those subject which you find more interesting to study and after that start with the basic of that subject. Go with every minute detail and after that you will start feeling confident. 2. Once you done with your basics then buy some professional book, Emphasis more over the subjects that you are not comfortable with. 3. Exercise daily to keep your mind fresh. 4. Drink lots of water, prepare notes, revise every week. 5. do give some time to entertainment also 6. Watch news and read magazines and journals to improve your GK and knowledge over current affairs. Hope it will help you Cheers...!!! |

Re: What should I do to clear IAS and IES Exams in first attempt?
Written exam consist of two papers:
Paper I : carries 300 marks & Duration :21/2 hrs it consists of Maths Paper II: carries 600 marks & Duration :21/2 hrs it consists of English & General ability Tips to prepare for NDA Exam: NDA is exam which is conducted in all india level , so there will surely merit list for the exam . it consists of two papers a (i)mathematics (ii)general ability please concentrate in english and biology for cracking the general ability test . The written exam however is only the first hurdle. The interview is phased into two sections. Candidates are screed on the first day of five-day program and only those who survive are assessed for “officer like qualities” Go through previous year question papers and understand the pattern for the exam try to complete as much paper as you can but just remember that there is negative marking so dont attempt the risky questions and remember merit is generally based on english and maths paper so work hard for english and maths. Practice again makes you perfect. |

Re: What should I do to clear IAS and IES Exams in first attempt?
The two Entrance Exams that you mentioned like
IAS Exam IES Exam are the two popular Exams in India which are having healthy competition among the candidates. I don't think it is not a good choice of preparing for both the exams at a time. You will have to put so much hard work in order to complete the syllabus for both the exams and simultaneously you have to concentrate on your academics also. Day and night you should do hard work. You will get confusion of what to study and when to study and when is the best time to study. You can not gain in depth knowledge in any of the areas as you can not find much time to study. My suggestion would be to opt for only one exam and have good preparation for the same. Better to concentrate on IAS Exam in full time and less preparation for IES Exam. Your preparation should be in such a way that you will easily be placed in IAS and by chance due to any luck if you crack IES also, you will be much happy. Hope my information is useful to you. Wish you all the best. |
