dear sir i have done 12th class in non medical with 48 % but sir my aim is to join defence life like army,& navy . sir please help me what should i do to join army or navy. i have an lot of experience b'cause i have done NCC B certificate, army attachment camp held at 6mad bsantar batt. jammu. , All india trecking camp held at dehradun. ATC, CATC etc............

request sir help me what will i do.

Dear friend, don't worry.the option is that first do BSc and if possible MSc in any subject then apply for ARMY etc.Then only you go some good level post.

Yeah Sure, you can join Indian Army or Navy after passing 12th standard.

If you want to join Army or Navy then you have to appear in NDA entrance exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission of India 2 times in a year- NDAI & NDAII.


Requirements to join NDA(Indian Army):

You should be 12th passed in any stream/subjects from recognized school.

There is no restriction on minimum percentage.

You should be Male(Unmarried) & Indian Citizen.

Your should be with in 16.5 to 19 years.



Requirements to join NDA(Indian Navy):

You should be 12th passed in PCM subjects from recognized school.

There is no restriction on minimum percentage.

You should be Male(Unmarried) & Indian Citizen.

Your should be with in 16.5 to 19 years.

For that you have to do graduation or 10+2 and apply for the navy admission notice published in major news paper as & when vacancy or exam is scheduled.Prepare according to syllabus.Four Year Indian Naval Academy Course.The four year INAC programme is conducted for the 10 + 2 Integrated Cadets and on graduation the cadets are awarded a BTech degree.if you want to be a officer then you have to pass examination like Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Executive Branch (General Service). You must have secured a first class at the graduation level with Physics and Mathematics as your subjects. or have completed a BE or B Tech in any discipline with a first class. or other graduation degree with first class.minimum height of 157 cm with correlated weight.minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision -- 6/12, 12 correctable to 6/6 or 6/6 with glasses.The SSB interview will include Pychological Tests, Individual Tasks, Group Tasks, Group Discussions and Interview.

Dear friend you can join army or navy or air force also after your 12th
to join army you can be from any stream in 12th
but to join navy and air force you should complete 12th with physics and mathematics as your subjects

you cannot apply for NCC entry
because you should complete NCC 'C' certificate with minimum B grade

you have apply as a regular candidate and crack NDA exam conducted by UPSC every twice

here is the eligibility for NDA


Age limit is 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

NO reservations for SC/ST/OBC


You should be unmarried
Academic qualification,
12th class pass/completed from any stream
{For navy and air force Mathematics and Physics should be one of the subjects in 12th class}

NDA is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.

After you clear the exam you can choose any of the three
Army wing
Navy wing
Air Force wing

NDA stands for National Defense Academy.NDA Examination are conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year i.e., NDA I and NDA II.

NDA Examination is conducted for 3 wings:

• Indian Air Force
• Indian Navy
• Indian Army

The Eligibility Criteria:

** The candidate must have to pass 12th class from a recognized university.

** And the final year of 12th class students also to apply for this NDA Examination.

** There is no any percentage restriction in 12th class.

** The age limit in between 16.5 to 19 years. There is no an upper age criteria.

To Pay Fee for NDA Examination:

** Pay the fees by net banking.
** Pay the fees direct in SBI.
**Pay the fees by SBI Debit/Credit Card.

The NDA Examination fee is RS.50.

If you don’t have any debit/credit card then you can pay fee directly in the SBI Bank.

Yes, you can apply for Indian Army or Indian Navy through NDA after completing the 12th class non medical as there is no percentage limit for NDA.

After passing 12th with 48% you can join Indian Defence.
For this you have to qualify the N.D.A exam.

N.D.A is National Defence Academy.

N.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

After qualifying N.D.A exam you can join Defence services like:-
> Army
> Air Force
> Navy

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with recognized university
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit

There are three steep of selection:-
