During training period, you will not paid salary for six months. You will paid stipend of Rs 5000. But the remaining amount will be in your name only but Indian army will not give you directly. It will be saved. Once you complete, 1 year, they will give all the amount which is 15-16 thousand per-month.

Starting: Stipend of Rs 5000.
After one year: 15000-17000
From there you have to deduct your own GF and all.

Intial pay of an army soldier is about rs. 4000 to 7000 depending upon the category to which he belongs.Besides this a regular Indian army soldier enjoy other benifits like fee ration,clothing,accommodation and allied services,medical treatment for self and faimly,group housing scheme benifits,building loan facilities,canteen facilities and etc.

dear friend you have to passed in 12 for army clerk with minimum 40% marks in every subject and have english of 100 or 150 marks u will also need resiedential certificate and character certificate also

dost, har training centre apne hisab se salary deti hai waise clerk ki salry 5900 se 20200 hai with a grade pay of 1900. kyunki main bhi ek cadate hu aur main danapur b.r.o mein hu to mujhe mere training ki waqt 6,400 milta tha, but training ke baad pass out parade ke baad mujhe 1.5 lakh mile the. ye paise tumhe sirf ek baar milega aur ye paisa tumhare training period mein jo 20200 se 6400 hatana ke baad jo 12000 bachata hain usko army savings karti hai aur jab tumhari training khatm hogi us pe interest laga kar tumhe lauta degi.so after training you got a heavy price. wish you a happy life jai hind

In Indian Army the salaries are given as per the category of the woker..
but during the training time you will get paid the stipend of Rs.5000/- for six months
and later after joining in the duty then your salary will be different as per the post you gain..

Indian Army Clerk Exams Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Unmarried male Indian citizens (including those of Nepal) are eligible.

Age: 17-23 Years

Educational Qualifications:
10 2/Intermediate exam passed in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 50% marks in aggregate and min 40% in each subject. Weightage for higher qualification.

*** Dispensation of educational qualification as per the rules.

Indian Army Clerk Written Exams

Eligible candidates will be required to appear for a written test.

Paper-I : It generally comprises of questions on IQ, Numerical ability, General knowledge and current affairs.

Duration of papers is 60 minutes.
Total marks 100
Pass Marks 32

Paper-II : It generally comprises of Maths & English (Language Proficiency).

Duration - 30 minutes.
Total marks 50 marks
Pass Marks-16.

In addition to paper 1 Sol Clk has to qualify in their respective paper.

Pay Scale for Indian Army Officers:

Pay Structure and other Allowances for Army Officers and equivalent ranks in Air Force and Navy

Stipend for Cadet Training

Gentlemen cadets receive a stipend of Rs. 21,000/- p.m. (Rs. 15,600/- as pay in Pay Band plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/-) during the entire duration of training. The period of training is not treated as commissioned service.

Lieutenant Colonel to Major Rs. 37,400-67,000(PB-4)
