To get into the profession of Law mainly as Lawyer or advocate highly rated profession in the human society you will first have to pursue LLB course.
LLB stands for Bachelor of legislative law and the same course is available in two types which are discussed as below:- --> First type :- LLB course of 5 years for students having higher secondary school degree from a recognized board of education. --> Second type :- LLB course of 3 years for students having bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Also for pursing the same course from any National Law Universities of India one has to clear Common Law Admission Test ( CLAT ) for which the qualifications required are as here under :- * You must have a higher secondary degree with any stream of your liking from a recognized board of education with at least 45% aggregate. Relaxation of 5% marks is provided to SC/ST or PH candidates. * Also your age must not exceed 20 years. Here also relaxation of 2 years is provided to SC/ST & PH candidates. Once you complete your LLB course you will have to enroll yourself with the your respective state Bar council association and then have to practice same for better understanding of law & order to have bright future. For more details regarding the CLAT you can log on the official link of same i.e; www.clat.ac.in. |
