I want to know when the custom of the examination is conducted and how the question is asked! I am working in the Steel Industry is a Calcutta! I did Pgdm/mba in marketing and pgdiem in Pune..

The examination for recruitment of custom officer is usually conducted during the month of May-June and selection is done through Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam and is conducted by Staff Selection Commission.
To be eligible for the exam, you must be a graduate in any discipline within the age limit of 18-27 years. The maximum age limit is relaxed upto 3 years for candidates belonging to obc category and 5 years for candidates belonging to Sc/St category.

Syllabus of Combined Graduate Level Exam:

The examination is divided into Preliminary exam and Main exam.

Preliminary exam

General Intelligence & General Awareness 100 marks
Arithmetic 100 marks

Main exam

English Language 100 marks
Language Comprehension (English) 100 marks
Communication Skill & Writing Ability 200 marks
Arithmetic 200 marks
General Studies 200 marks
