Most of the good marine colleges take scores of JEE, or conduct their own tests and cutoff lists.
Some of the institutes are: MERI, IMI, Tolani, AMET, etc.

You need to apply to specific colleges individually.

The initial pay package after the course is 6-12 lakhs.

Normally the entrance exam is conducted in the month of December. The application forms for the same will be available in the month of November. The cost of the application form will be around Rs 2500. The salary will depend on the type of carrier you join and whether the same belongs to an Indian company or offshore. The salary is the higher for those joining oil tankers. The salary will be around $1800 to $2500 per month for foreign ships. It will much lower than this for Indian companies.
