NET stands for National Eligibility Test

This exam is conducted by UGC(University Grants Commission).This exam is conducted twice in a year namely on the months of June and December


Regarding the notification of dates for the NET Exam which is going to be conducted on the month of June 2012 is mentioned below for your reference.

Important Dates for NET 2012:

Last Date of Submission of Form: 30.04.2012

Last date for receiving the documents at the test center : 07.05.2012

Date Of Examination :24.06.2012

NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST conducted by UGC twice a year one in the month of June and other in the month of December for selection of Lectureship and award to JRF(Junior Research Fellowship).

The candidate having Post Graduation Degree in any stream with 55% marks from a recognised University is eligible to apply for NET.

The NET June 2012 exam will be conducted by UGC on 17.06.2012

UGC conduct the net exam for JRF and Lecturership two time in month of
june and december.

Notification comes in month of March and September in Employment News and ugc website- www.uhc.ac.in

Eligibility:-

Post graduation in any subject with 55% from any recognised university.
Final year student of PG also can apply.

Age limit for jrf is maximum 28 year.

There is no upper age limit for lecturership.

The National eligibility test conducted by ugc held on 24th december 2011 was on saturday.The result of which is going to be declared very soon.

The result of the UGC-NET held on 24th December 2011 and the one to be held on 24th June, 2012 will be made available on the UGC websites: www.ugc.ac.in and www.ugcnetonline.in as and when it is declared. The candidates will not be individually intimated about their result.

You can again fill the Form for UGC for this year that is going to be held in 24 June 2012.This time the paper is objective type.The important dates are as under-

i) Last date for Applying On-Line 30-04-2012


ii) Last date for receiving the printout of online Application Form (2 copies), Attendance Slip (one copy) and Admission Card (one copy) at the respective test centre opted by the candidate (with fee receipt & category certificate(s) )
