Information about the NDA examination !!!

NDA - National Defense Academy.

Its an all India Entrance conducted by the UPSC every year to select candidates from all over India for the various posts in Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.


If you wish to apply for the same, then you need to meet the following requirements at first ::


1. You should be an unmarried Male Candidate.

2. You should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school or state board like CBSE, ICSE, etc..

3. The age should be within 16.5 to 19 years in the year of applying. No relaxation is provided in this criteria.

4. Maths and Physics are compulsory for the Indian Navy and Air Force.

5. Physical fitness is also a must.



This year the NDA exam is scheduled on 15th April 2012 which is a Sunday.

The last date to apply for the exam is 30th January 2012. Please do the needful before this date.

The important dates of NDA 2012 are as follows.......

NDA & NA Exam I

Date of Notification: 31st December 2011
Last Date of Receipt of Applications: 30th January 2012
Date of commencement of Examination: 15th April 2012
Duration of Examination: 1 Day

NDA & NA Exam II

Date of Notification: 5th May 2012
Last Date of Receipt of Applications: 4th June 2012
Date of commencement of Examination: 19th August 2012
Duration of Examination: 1 Day

Eligibility

1:You should pass 12(10+2)th or its equivalent from State Board / Universities. you can also apply as appearing for 12th examination.

2:Marital Status:Unmarried

3:Sex :Male.

4:Age Limit : Between 16.5 and 19.

5:Nationality:
You have to be A citizen of India, or
subject of Bhutan, or
subject of Nepal, or
Tibetan refugee .

Procedure To Apply:-

You have to apply online by using the website:-www.upsconline.nic.in

LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS :

The Online Applications can be filled upto 30th January 2012 till 11.59 PM
after which the link will be disabled.

FEES

The Fees amount is Rs.50 for all candidate.You have to paid this rupees using online banking or have to cut Bank challan in SBI Branch.

NDA i.e. National Defence Academy. UPSC conducts the NDA entrance exam for recruitment to defence services like Indian Army, Navy & Air Force.

Eligibility condition for NDA:

• You should have passed 12th standard from State board or recognized school.
  
• There is no percentage limit mentioned for this exam.
  
• If you are appearing in 12th then you can also apply.
  
• Your age must be between 16.5 to 19 year.
  
• You must be citizen of India.

Exam Pattern for NDA written test:
-------------------------------------------

There will be written Examination for total of 900 marks in two Subjects

1. Mathematics - Maximum marks is 300 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs.
2. General Ability Test - Maximum marks is 600 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs.

The papers in both the subjects will consist of objective type questions only.

you have missed one chance, now the next recruitment application filling starts in April and after that in November next one.

NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to three wings of NDA i.e. Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male within the age group of 16.5 to 19 years of age having either appeared for 12th final exam or passed from any stream from a recognised State/ Central Board is eligible to apply for NDA.

The registration process for NDA-I is going on now the last date to submit application form is 30.01.2012 which will be through on line only followed by exam on 15.04.2012.
