Sir, i would like to know the date for the recruitment of Airman X trade that is to be held in the month of November 2011 as published in the employment news during the month of July 2011.

Indian Air Force (IAF) invites applications for the post of Airmen in Group X (Technical Trade) (Except Education Instructor) and Group Y (Non-Technical Trade).

Airmen Group X Eligibility
- Your born should be between 13th January, 1998 to 2nd January, 2002 including both days.
- You must have passed (10+2) with physics, chemistry and maths subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in english subject.
OR
- You must have passed diploma in engineering in any stream with at least 50% marks aggregate and 50% marks in english in diploma or intermediate/matriculation.

Important Dates
- Online Application Starts : 3rd July, 2018
- Last Date of Application : 24th July, 2018
- Issue Admit Card : August, 2018
- Online Examination : 13th to 16th September, 2018
- Result Declaration : October, 2018
- Provisional Select List : 30th April, 2019
- Enrollment List : 10th June, 2019

Required Physical Standards
- Height : Minimum 152.5 cms
- Chest : Minimum 5 cms expansion
- Weight : Minimum 55 Kgs
- Hearing : Able to hear from distance of 6 meters in each ear separately.
- Dental : Healthy Gums, Good Set of Teeths and Minimum 14 dental points.
- Corneal Surgery is not acceptable.
- Permanent body tattoos are not permitted.

Written Test
- Exam will be conducted in online mode.
- Questions will be asked from three subjects physics, chemistry and mathematics.
- Exam Duration : 60 Minutes

Physical Fitness Test
- 1.6 Km Run within 6 minutes 30 seconds
- 10 Push-Ups, 10 Sit-Ups, 10 Squats within stipulated time.

Adaptability Test - 1
It is written test to access suitability of candidates for employment in IAF which involves deployment in various geographic, weather and operational conditions.

Adaptability Test - 2
It is conducted to select candidates who can adapt the environment of IAF and can adjust to the military way of life.
