dear friend,
IAS exam is conducted by UPSC every year to recruit students for administrative jobs...

So, before appearing in IAS exam you have to fulfill some eligibility criteria first.

Eligibility for IAS exam:--------------------->>

Education qualification:-----------

>>The candidate must have complete the graduation in any tarde from a recognized university..
>>Final year candidates are also eligible for the exam.
>>No such percentage of aggregate is required..

Age limit:--------------

>>The candidates age should be in between 21-30 years.
For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years.

Nationality:-------------

>>The candidate must be a citizen of India.

These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill.
As you have done the graduation in distance learning mode then you just need to be confirm that the university under which you have done the graduation course is recognized or not..

If the university is recognized one then you will be able to apply for IAS exam.
Otherwise not..

All the best.

Yes. You are eligible to appear for IAS Exam even though have completed your Graduation course in Distance Learning.

You did not mention the highest academic qualification that you have.

In order to be eligible for IAS Exam, you should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university.

Even the candidates who have appeared for final year exams of Graduation course and waiting for the results can also apply for this Exam.

For IAS, you should have to crack civil services examination being conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year.

The complete selection procedure which a candidate has to go through is by
-CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test)
-Civil Services Main Examination
-Interview

The candidates will be placed in several civil services by this selection procedure like
-IAS
-IPS
-IRS etc.

As per age criteria,
-One should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for this Exam.
-Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category and upto 5 years for the candidates of SC/ST category.

If you have completed Graduation, then you can apply for this Exam.

Dear Friend,
Yes you are eligible for Civil Service or IAS conducted by UPSC every year because you fulfills the basic condition which is Graduation degree from a recognised university, it does not matter whether the degree is regular or by distance, so you are eligible if you are graduate and a minimum 21 years of age.
