Why don't MCI recognizes Post Graduate Diploma from Bangladesh?


Students who did mbbs from Bangladesh doing very well in screening test. So please recognise their postgraduate diploma along with mbbs. So that they can write the degree n serve the patients accordingly.

MCI or Medical Council of India recognises MBBS degree acquired by a students from the below mentioned universities situated in Bangladesh:

I. Chittagong University
II. Dhaka University
III. Rajshahi University

If you have acquired the MBBS degree from the above university then only you will be eligible to practise in India after passing an qualifying exam or clearance announced by MCI from time to time.

PGD is not recognised and a mere knowledge of medical science is not enough to allow an individual to practise legally across India according to MCI.
