I have completed B.Tech (Mechanical) in 2007.Now i am doing job in an automobile company.My age is 25. I want to join indian army. Is there any scheme for entry in indian army.

Technical Graduate Course : The most popular entry for engineering students to join Indian army after engineering is TGC entry, TGC entry is conducted by Indian army two times every year and engineering candidates get shortlisted based on their percentage till 6th semester.
TGC entry also know as Technical Graduate Course Entry is a type of entry through which an engineering graduate(only male) can join the Indian Army as an officer. TGC entry is specific for engineering students who can apply for it from final year onward.
The best branch for engineering course for Indian army is the mechanical branch because there many technical entry in the ARMY. so the mechanical branch students get the maximum benifit in get selection.There is an entry called TGC (Technical Graduate Entry) for women through which they can apply for officer posts. Notifications regarding TGC entry will be updated in the official website Join Indian Army | Government of India . Generally it is conducted once in a year. TGC-16 entry for women had been held recently.
