Age limit required for writing AFCAT exam?


How I become a part of air force by giving the AFCAT test. What is the age limit for this? I am looking for a quick response from your side.

Age criteria for AFCAT exam:-

Flying Branch:-

Your age should be in between 19 to 23 years.

Technical Branch:-

Your age should be in between 18 to 28 years.

Ground Duty Branches:-

Your age should be in between 19 to 27 years.

Age Criteria Required for AFCAT Examination:

AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) is an entrance examination conducted for an entry into several branches viz. GDOC, Technical Branch and Flying Branch. Candidates who successfully complete their Graduate Degree from a recognized university are certainly eligible to appear in AFCAT Examination. Yes, to be a part of Air Force you are required to give this AFCAT Examination and get through with merit marks in order to qualify for Other rounds like Interview.

For AFCAT Flying Branch: (As on 1st July of the year)
* Minimum Age - 20 years
* Maximum Age - 24 years

For GDOC: (As on 1st July of the year)
* Minimum Age - 20 years
* Maximum Age - 26 years

For Technical Branch: (As on 1st July of the year)
* Minimum Age - 20 years
* Maximum Age - 26 years

The age limit that is required for the AFCAT examination are of 2 types.
If you are interested in the flying officer branch then the upper age limit is of 23 years and in case if you are interested in the non technical branch or the ground duty officer branch, then your age upper age limit is of 26 years. Note that the previous upper age limit for the ground duty officer post was 27 years and now it has been reduced to 26 years.

Age limit required for writing AFCAT exam :

Age of candidate must be from 20 to 24 years for Flying Branch, from 20 to 26 years for Technical and ground Duty branch.
Age relaxation is also there up to 26 years for Flying Branch as per rules.
  • Candidate must be citizen of India.
  • Candidate must have passed graduation degree in relevant field from any recognised university.
  • Candidate must have secured more than 60% marks in graduation.

Selection Procedure :
Candidate who have applied for AFCAT will be called for written exam. Candidates who get passed in this exam will be called for documents check and Intelligence Test. Then candidate have to appear in Psychological test, Group Tests and Interview.

AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test and it is conducted by Air Force twice every year.

The age limit to appear for examination is :-

* Flying Branch -- 20-24 years as on 01.01.2017 graduation in any discipline with mathematics and physics in 10+2 and have minimum 60% aggregate.

* Technical ---20-26 years as on 01.01.2017 and graduation in four year technical course with minimum 60% aggregate.

* Ground Duty --- 20-26 years as on 01.01.2017 and graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% aggregate.

The application form for AFCAT I is available now and examination will be conducted in February.

The candidates after qualifying in written examination have to go through SSB before final selection for job. For more information visit at http://www.careerairforce.nic.in.

AFCAT stands for AIR FORCE COMMON ADMISSION TEST. Your age must not be less than 20 years and more than 24 years for appearing in the exam.

Also there is age relaxation for the reserved candidates. One more thing is that all the candidates who holds COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENCE by DGCA are eligiblr up to 26 years.

AFCAT - Air Force Common Admission Test.

The exam is conducted by the Indian Air Force twice in a year for recruiting the candidates in the Flying branch, Technical branch, Ground duty branch etc.

ELIGIBILITY :

* Candidate should be citizen of India.

* Candidate age should be in the range of 20-24 years for flying branch, 20-26 years for Technical branch and 20-26 years for Ground duty branch.

* Age relaxation is applicable as per the regulations.

* Candidate should complete bachelor's degree in any discipline from any recognized university with at least 60% aggregate in total.

AFCAT examination is conducted for selection of candidates in Air Force in various jobs as Flying branch, technical branch and ground duty.

The eligibility criteria is different for each of them as for flying branch age limit is 20-24 years and for other two it is 20-26 years.

Candidates who have passed graduation from any stream are eligible for Ground duty, where as technical degree is necessary for technical duty and essential to have 10+2 with mathematics and physics for flying branch.

AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test. Age limit for different branches of Indian Air Force is as below:

1. Technical Branch: 20-26 years.

2. Ground Duty Branch: 20-26 years.

3. Flying Branch:20-24 years.

Age calculated on 1st January for AFCAT I in 2016.

Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) age limit for the flying Branch is 20 to 24 years, Technical Branch is 20 to 26 years and GDOC is 20 to 26 years.
