Am I eligible for the government teacher job after completion of graduation and 40 years old?
I am 40 years old. I am a post graduate of rural development with first class from Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Am I eligible for job of a government teacher ? Can you please provide me the details which we need to follow?

You are eligible for a government teacher when you are a B.Ed degree holder. The most important thing is that there is no any age limit in this field. candidate must have at least 55% marks.

Yes, you are eligible to appear for TET to get recruitment as teacher in government schools.
The eligibility to appear for examination is candidate must have passed graduation degree and have B.Ed degree from any recognised university. So, after qualifying in examination, you become eligible to get recruitment as teacher.

Yes, you are eligible for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). There is no age restriction to apply to the CTET. So if you satisfy the other criteria then you can appear for CTET. The educational qualifications differ for each post like Primary Teacher, Elementary Teacher etc. The aspirant can check the details in the website http://ctet.nic.in/ctetapp/eligibility.aspx For the state government teacher posts you have to check the State Government Teacher Eligibility Test. Each state has different age limit, you have to check it in your state.
