My age is 20 and i want to get admitted in Indian airforce. I also wants to let you know that i am an btech engineering student and my branch is civil.I have great interest in airforce and i know that i have the ability to become a good airforce officer in future times.I also have good physique and a good height of 6.2.I just want to know how i can get admitted in Indian airforce?is there any exam that i have to pass?

Yeah you need to write the entrance exam to join in Indian Air Force as per the qualification which you possess and the to join in this force you need to write the entrance exam for it and there are exams which are conducted in India and they are to be applied as per the qualification which you possess.

As you are doing B.Tech you can apply for the entrance exam which is the AFCAT Exam

AFCAT stands for Air force Common Entrance Test and this exam offers candidates to join in 3 branches of Air Force and they are:

• Ground Duty Branch
• Technical Branch
• Flying Branch

As with your qualification you can join in Technical & Flying Branch and the qualification which you need for them are:

For Technical Branch:


# Candidate should have a Citizenship in India

# The age limit needed for the branch is that the candidate should have 18-28 years

# Education qualification needed is that the candidate should have completed B.E/B.tech from a recognized university.

For Flying Branch:


# Candidate should have a Citizenship in India

# Age limit needed is 19-23 years

# Education qualification needed for the exam is that the candidate should have completed B.E/B.Tech from a recognized university
