Re: What to do after 12th PCB to join Indian Air Force? Procedure for joining NDA?
Hi friend,
To join in indian air force you must write one of the two exams named National defence academy(NDA) and Combined defence service(CDS). NDA exam is to join as a soldier and CDS is to join as an officer. For CDS exam you must be a graduate and for NDA you must have finished 12th. You can apply for NDA exam with the following procedure. Candidates may apply online using the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in, detailed instructions for filling up online applications are available on the above mentioned website. Candidates may also apply offline in the common application form which can be purchased from the designated head post offices/post offices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs 20/- (Rs twenty only). |

Re: What to do after 12th PCB to join Indian Air Force? Procedure for joining NDA?
Sorry but to become a pilot in Indian Airforce you need to have mathematics at your 10+2 level.
With mathematics you can appear for the NDA examination conducted by upsc twice in an year. The another way of becoming pilot in Indian Airforce is to have a 4 years engineering degree scheme at your graduation level from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% in all papers put together. After this you can appear in CDS examination this is also conducted by upsc. With PCB i'm sorry friend but you cannot appear in NDA to become a pilot in Indian Airforce. For more details you can visit- www.careerairforce.nic.in or www.upsc.gov.in |

Dear friend,
If you are interested to join Indian Army then you must sit for NDA examination conducted by UPSC twice in every year. But you should have these following criteria : 1.You should pass 10+2 examination. 2.Your age must be within 16.5 to 19 years. 3.You must be an Indian. I think you have all these criteria. So, Best of luck........ |

Re: What to do after 12th PCB to join Indian Air Force? Procedure for joining NDA?
You can apply for NDA but you cannot join airforce having PCB in 12th. You may only go in the army with PCB in 12th.
The other option is that you have to do 12th with PCM again to join airforce or you may opt for army. To apply for NDA:- You can buy the application forms from the district post offices and you can also apply online. |

Re: What to do after 12th PCB to join Indian Air Force? Procedure for joining NDA?
You want to serve the nation, by joining Indian air force, which is really appreciable.. But I am very sorry to say that, you are not eligible for this examination, as you must have subjects mathematics & physics in 10+2 level. There are mainly two examinations are here , one is after 12th, NDA[national defence academy] examination & the other one is after graduation, called CDS[COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE ] exam.,both of these exams are conducted by UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION [UPSC]. The eligibility for NDA - A 12TH degree from a recognized board. For apply in Nany & air force, you must have physics & maths as your passing subjects in 12th. The age limit for this examination is 16.5-19 years. You must have Indian nationality with marital status unmarried. Exam pattern- The eligibility for CDS examination- A graduation degree from a recognized college. For apply in Navy & air force, you must have Physics & maths in 10+2+3. You must have scored at least 60% in 10+2+3. The age limit for this examination is 19-23 for IAF [INDIAN AIR FORCE ]. 19-22 years for the NAVAL WING. 19-25 years for the IMA [INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY]. Thank you!! ~gamble~ |
