Can I become a Lecturer in any Government college if pursuing M.Com from KSOU having completed B.Sc and B.Ed in Mathematics?


Hello Friends,
I have done B.Sc and then B.Ed, both in Mathematics but I taken M.Com in KSOU. Now I am in 2nd year of my M.Com and I want to know that I can become a Lecturer in any government college?

You are doing M.Com degree from KSOU so you are eligible lecturer post in government college because KSOU is approved UGC. But you must have UGC NET score card.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test. This exam is conducted by UGC.

The educational qualification required for NET exam is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for NET exam.

There is no age criteria for NET exam but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years.
