Hello sir, based the eligibility I must have completed 21 years. But I am planning to appear for 2017 Exam of VAO. But at the time I won;t complete 21 years of age but I will complete in May before results are announced. So please tell me the eligibility criteria.

A candidate can only appear for VAO exam if he/she has completed 21 years or above. Maximum age to apply for this exam is 30 years & age relaxation applicable for reserved category as per government guidelines. If you wish to appear for this exam then complete 21 years of age. Even if you apply form it will be rejected.

No, as per age criteria, you are not eligible for VAO exam.

VAO Stands for Village Administrative Officer.

If you have completed 12th standard or graduation degree from a recognized University, then you are eligible for VAO exam.

Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years.

The age limit for VAO examination 2017 is 21 years minimum and 30 years maximum. If the candidate belongs to BC/MBC/SC/ST/BCM/DW then he should have born after 01/07/1977 and born before 01/07/1995 and for OC candidate 01/07/1987 and 01/07/1995. So if you born after 01/07/1995 you are not eligible to appear for VAO 2017 examination in Tamil Nadu.[/B] The TNPSC website link is Click Here
