After completion of BCA degree, you should go for SSC CGL exam. If you have once qualify in SSC CGL exam then you are eligible for CID post.

Eligibility criteria for SSC CGL exam 2015:-

Minimum qualification required to apply for this examination is completing a degree course from a recognized Institution.

Your age should be in between 21 to 27 years.

Age relaxation-

Upper age relaxation for OBC is upto 3 years.
For SC/ ST , it is upto 5 years.
For PWD it is upto 10 years

CID stands for (Crime Investigation Department) , If you are interested to get in to CID Then you have to appear UPSC exams .
There are some eligibility criteria :

The candidates should be a citizen of India.
The candidates should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognize university.
The final year students can also appear this exams.
The age limit is 21 - 30 years.
There is a age relaxation for reserved candidates.

Physical requirement :
Height:
For men: 163 cms.
For women: 152 cms

An exam is conducted by SSC and candidates are selected on the basis of CGL exam.
You are eligible for CID.for CID graduation from any branch is applicable.
Eligibility criteria:
citizen of india
graduation in any discipline from recognised university.
No percentage bar you got in graduation.
Age limit:20 to 27 years for general,3 years relaxation for OBC and 5 years relaxation for sc/st.
Selection process:
written exam
physical test
personal interview
As you are BCA graduate you are eligible to become CID officer.

There is no need to pursue any other course after completion of BCA to join CID. You can join in CID after completion of your Graduation in BCA course. To join in CID, you must have to satisfy the eligibility criteria mentioned below :-

1. You must have completed Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university.

2. You must have attained the minimum age of 20 years and must not have exceeded the maximum age of 27 years as on 1st July of the year of examination. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules.

To join in CID, you must have to appear in Indian Civil Services examination which is held by Union Public Service Commission every year. The examination comprises of written test, interview and physical test. Candidates who have qualified in all rounds of examination are selected into CID.

The eligibility to join in Criminal Investigation Department (CID) are different for various posts which are given below :

ELIGIBILITY :

* Candidate should citizen of India.

* Candidates age should be 20-25 years.

* Age relaxation is applicable as per norms.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :

For Constable :

* Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized Institution.

For SI :

* Candidate should have passed graduation in any discipline with 60% or above from any recognized university or institution.

For Officer level :

* Candidate should have graduation degree in any stream with 60% or above from any recognized university or institution. For Officer level post, graduation in Criminology is preferred field.

SELECTION PROCESS :

* Written exam.

* Interview.

* Physical fitness test.
