Do the promoted Assistant Commissioner/under Secretaries recruited by SSC CGL as Inspector or Assistant become IAS, IPS, IRS or IFS?
Respected Sir, I want to know do the promoted Assistant Commissioner/under Secretaries recruited by SSC CGL as Inspector or Assistant become IAS, IPS, IRS or IFS? Please answer as soon as possible.

No, You will not be promoted from SSC CGL to IAS, both are Civil Servants but the category of posts is different.
But you can very well go for IAS while working as SSC CGL officer. There are many instances where Persons working in SSC CGL have cracked the IAS exam and it needs some delightful and persistence hard work. |
