No, BA final year candidates are not eligible for SSC CGL exam.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an Indian government organization which will recruit staff members for the various posts in the various departments and ministries.

Minimum qualification required to apply for this examination is completing a degree course from a recognized Institution.

Age criteria:-

1. Sub Inspectors in CPOs – 20 years to 25 years
2. Assistant / Sub Inspector in CBI – 20 years to 27 years
3. Statistical Investigators – Maximum 26 years
4. For all other posts – 18 years to 27 years

Yes, you are eligible to appear in SSC CGL Recruitment examination being a B.A Final year candidate. Candidates who are appearing their Final year of Graduation are also eligible to appear in SSC CGL Recruitment. The basic educational qualification required to be eligible for SSC CGL Recruitment is "Graduation" or Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

Educational Qualification:

For Compiler: Bachelor's Degree from any recognized university with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective Subject.

For Statistical Investigator Grade II: Bachelor Degree in any discipline with Statistics as one of the subjects.

For All Other Posts: Bachelor Degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.

SSC stands for Staff selection commission. To appear ssc cgl you must complete your graduation From Any recognized university with minimum 50%.


Ssc cgl group B post grade pay (9300-34000) in which the gen candidates who want to get job should be maximum 30 years. For sc/st 5 years age relaxation.

Ssc cgl group C post grade pay (5200-20200) in which the gen candidates who want to get job should be maximum 27 years. For sc/st 5 years age relaxation.

I am presently serving in Army and have completed 12 years service as well as my BA last year exam are being scheduled in Jun 2021. Can I apply for this exam which Notification is to be open on 21 December 2020 and is there any relaxation to Army personnels
