Compulsory kannada paper is not for those who passed kannada language as first or second language or for those who studied in kannada medium.

KPSC (FDA and SDA)

Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) is an organization which is owned and entirely controlled by the Karnataka State Government. It conducts various competitive exams every year for the vacancies available in government departments and releases notifications for recruitment. Numerous job seekers in Karnataka wait for such notifications throughout the year. Just few weeks back, KPSC released a notification for the recruitment of FDA and SDA.

What are FDA and SDA?

Both of these are assistant posts. Candidates who are interested in government sector jobs can apply for KPSC FDA/SDA recruitment. FDA stands for First Division Assistant whereas SDA, for Second Division Assistant. There are some other posts as well, such as Assistants and Junior Assistants. In total there are about 2484 seats vacant this year.

Exam Pattern:

There is a Kannada Language Assessment test at first, which is a descriptive test followed by a General Knowledge test (Objective). Then you will have to answer Either General English or a General Kannada test (which is also objective in pattern). See the detailed Time Table in the Attachment Section below!
