Government jobs being in final year of MA and having 33 years of age?
I have done my BA with 48 percentage marks and now I am in MA final year. My date of birth is 10th July 1982. Can I get government or central government jobs? If yes then what kind of jobs can I apply for?

Your present age is 33 years, so if you belong to general category then there is hardly any government job at this age because for majority of government job entrance exams the age limit is 21-30 years with no upper age relaxation for general category candidates.
But if you belong to OBC or SC/ST category, you can apply for the jobs like Civil Services exam, Indian Forest Services exam etc. As you are in final year of master's degree in arts, if you manage to score 55% or more marks in master's degree, you can apply for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test for Lectureship. There is no upper age limit for lectureship. |
