RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) and STF (Special Task Force) don't recruit directly into its force. Following exams will help you make through it :

- IB ACIO (Intelligence Bureau Asst Central Intelligence Officer) is the exam conducted by Ministry of Home Affairs that will make you eligible to apply to RAW and STF. IB ACIO is a graduate level examination and is done in pen-paper mode with two written stages and one interview.

- SSC CGL : Sub-Inspector in NIA (National Investigation Agency) and CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) are eligible to apply on deputation basis in these agencies. It will be an exam of 3 stages and will be done in online mode with no interview.

- These posts carry very high medical standards.

- Height : Greater than 165cm

- Eyes : Perfect vision with no colourblindness

- Chest : 85cm

- Weight : Greater than 55kg.
