Since you are a CSE engineer, you will have an enormous opportunity to get a government job. You can get the job posts in the Technical and IT departments in the government departments.

You have to write the entrance exam and the interview under the government departments like UPSC, SSC, Bank, Railways and Defense etc. to get the government job. You have to apply for these government jobs through the entrance exams. Apart from this you also have to meet the eligibility criteria before applying for the post which will vary with respect to the designation.

The selection process will be based on the exams and interview. So if you want to get a government job concentrate more on writing exam followed by interview..

With B.tech(cse) as qualification , you can apply for several Government jobs .

~ you can apply for the Techncial posts in the companies like ,

Bhel
Bsnl
Isro
Drdo
Mtnl
Ongc , etc..

You shouldhave secured morethan 65% in b.tech to apply for a post in these companies.
or
you shouldhave secured Good Gate rank .


~ You can apply for the AFCAT exam to join in Airforce.
afcat stands for airforce common admission test

the exam inclues 3 branches. Those are ,
>technical branch
>flying branch
>ground duty branch


To join in flying branch , age shouldbe in between 19-23 years only.
To join in grounduty branch , age shouldbe inbetween 20-23 years only.
To join in Technical branch , age shouldbe in between 18-28 years only.
