I scored 61% aggregate in my B.E. course. I belong to OPEN category.If I score in top 100(or 50) in upcoming GATE exam,am I able to apply for PSU's ??
All PSU's require at least 65% aggregate in B.E. so will there be any relaxation for the precentage??????Will the PSU's prefer me (because of high GATE score)?????
My precentage:
10th:90
12th:88
B.E.:61

Yes, you can definitely get employment in the PSUs if you rank in the top 100 or top 50 in GATE exam even though you belong to Open category. Some PSUs require 65% in B.Tech but others do not any such criteria especially those which recruit on the basis of GATE scores. The PSUs will definitely prefer you if you have high GATE scores as well as give a very good interview.
