To join in Indian Forest Services, you need to appear for IFS exam conducted by UPSC every year. Eligibility criteria required to appear for IFS exam is mentioned below :-

Age limit :-
To be eligible to appear for IFS examination, you must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years. Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates and is of 5 years for SC/ST candidates is applicable as per the government rules.

Educational Qualification :-
You must have obtained a Bachelor's degree from any recognised university.

Nationality :-
You must be a citizen of India.

Number of Attempts :-
General :- 4
OBC :- 7
SC/ST :- No Limit
