Re: Is there any reservation available for a physically handicapped candidate at UPSC (IAS) exam?
For physically handicapped candidates, 3% of the total seats are reserved in UPSC examination, moreover a writ is now pending in Delhi high court which will allow physically handicapped candidates to appear for examinations 10 times.
Physically handicapped reservations are in this manner; > Deaf candidates - 1% > Blind candidates - 1% > Orthopedic candidates - 1%, which sums up to the total of 3%. |
