Hello friends,
I am going to apply for SSC Stenographer
recruitment. I just want to know that
what a Stenographer learns to do their work
and what is the work of a Stenographer?

A stenographer is mostly attached to a senior officer. He has to write the officer's speech in steno and then have to type the same.

Jobs of stenographer Grade C are in Department of central government or ministries. Job location is mainly in Delhi.

Jobs of stenographer Grade D are under two groups :

Group X : For Ministries department under central government, mostly in Delhi.

Group Y : For offices under central government including attached or subordinated offices locates in states and union territory.
