I have completed my B.Arch. and want to apply for govt. jobs what are the procedure to have the govt. job? please give me the details.

There are lots of government jobs available for B.Arch graduates. One can pursue a job in Urban Development Corporation, Slum clearance Board, Housing Boards, State Public Works Department etc. Regarding central government jobs one can pursue a career in Railways, National Building Organizations. There are openings in teaching field also; there are openings in universities for the post of lecturer in Architecture Department. The aspirant can look for the walk-in interviews from the universities. Many universities need lecturer in Architecture field. Regarding corporate company jobs, there are many jobs. One can get openings in construction companies. The aspirant has to look for this space also; one can get lot of exposure when they work in corporate companies. There are many companies whom come out with big projects like gated community. Many houses with lot of other facilities were done. There were some corporate companies like Gammon India and L&T are all doing lot of government projects in road constructions, fly over, reservoirs, metro rail etc. the aspirant can get a job in these companies also.
