I want to know about the age relaxations for servicing at Police Department. Please guide me regarding the relaxations? I have – 1.75 distance power in both eyes. Please help me.

Relaxation in age for joining police department is as per government norms.

Relaxation of 3 years is there for OBC candidates, relaxation of 5 years is there for SC and ST candidates and for 10 years for ex-servicemen.
Also it varies from state to state.

Eye standard :

For distant vision it is 6/6 and for near vision it is 0/5.
So, you are not eligible as your eyes are not up to standard.

If you have fulfill below given criteria then you are eligible for Police department.

From, my point of view you can apply for police department.

iii) Vision:-

Eye-sight ( with or without glasses )
Distant vision : 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye.
Near vision 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye.
