After completing Diploma Mechanical, you have a lot of career options other than B.Tech/B.E. You can pursue any Bachelor Degree in Science after 12th. Some of the courses are;

- Bachelor Degree in Physics (B.Sc)
- Bachelor Degree in Chemistry (B.Sc)
- Bachelor Degree in Information Technology (B.Sc)

You can also apply for the additional courses such as,

- CNC training.
- CAD/CAM Training.
- Auto CAD.
- PG Safety.
- Boiler Operating Training.
- Fire and Safety courses.
- Piping Design Training, etc.

Best Course Opportunities available to pursue after completion of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering:

There are many courses available to study after completion of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering course. There are three options available for you and they are,

)) Going for job after Diploma

)) Studies after Diploma

)) Short Term Courses

As far as my knowledge is concerned, pursuing higher courses after Diploma has good scope for you to find better career. As you are not willing to go with B.E/ B.Tech the other courses available for you are B.Sc/ B.Com/ BA, Designing courses. Or else you also go for short term courses like AutoCAD, Pro/E, Catia, CNC Training, Diploma in Tool Design, Unigraphics, PG Safety, Ansys, Hypermesh, Piping Design Training, RADIOSS Training and Diploma in Mechatronics and Robotics.

Although there are many courses to pursue, the best course I always suggest you to go with is "B.E/ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering". Or else go with 1 year Short term courses mentioned above.

It is nice to see you aspire for higher studies after your diploma course. You can definitely pursue higher studies and not go for B.Tech course since there are many options available before you. However, pursuing B.E/B.tech is the best option as you have completed diploma course in mechanical engineering. You can opt for the below mentioned courses.

- Post graduate Diploma
- B.Sc
- BBA
- BCA
- Mass communication
- Fitness courses like nutrition and dietetics, physiotherapy, etc.
- Hotel and Hospitality Management
