Can I get admission to study Mechanical or Computer Science if secured 10518 rank in VITEEE? Placement criteria in VIT?

Hello
My rank is 10518 in VITEEE.
Please tell me whether I can get
Computer Science or Mechanical Branch.
Also tell me how good is placement in
VIT and what is the average salary package offered.

Yes, you can get mechanical or computer science branch since you have scored 10518 rank in VITEEE. However, it will be difficult for you to get a seat in the computer science or mechanical branch in the Vellore branch of VIT. This is because mechanical and computer science are the top branches and are quickly filled in the Vellore branch. However, you can get seat in these branches in Chennai branch of VIT. The placement record of VIT is very good. More than 200 companies come for recruitment drive in VIT and the average package offered is around 4 lakhs.
